I’ve already bought the lincense but I can’t watch a video! I’m always facing the message that I have to pay! What’s wrong? What shoud I do to watch finally a film ?! I’m so angry….

The first movie I opened was badly distorted. If you have a file created by Quicktime 7 pro, expecially one that was converted from WMV, this application won’t help you. It does a nice job on other files.

I have been having trouble with VLC so I have been wanting to replace it the problem is it is very difficult to fond a media player on Mac that can play a playlist. This app does it and it does it very well so now I can finally get rid of VLC and all it’s crashes becuase I have something a lot better to replace it with. Only problem I have with it is my laptop sounds like a 747 when it is running even if the video is paused.

May it can display english subtitl only. I don’t like it!

This is the first video player that ive had on OS X that doesnt mess up the audio, crash or not work at all. I think the best thing about it is that you have full control of the audio settings i.e. you can choose to have digital audio coming out of the hdmi port or airplay etc. Its also the only player ive used that can switch audio tracks flawlessly. Just a good all around video player. I highly recommend it and I am what you’d call an a/v nerd so trust me.. Have a good day eh!

There are several reasons to use this app to watch the movies as you are on the road (and nothing against if you are @home :-) The hardware acceleration is a very good help for battery (in the long travels this is very important). It saves batteries much better than VLC (for example). I use a rMB 12” as I am in travel and with this app the bottom of the laptop does not warm up. An other very important feature: it remembers the last played position, so you can stop and restart to watch a movie where you did leave it.

App plays my video files, AVI, MKV, MP4, etc. ok with a couple of app quit episodes. I contacted the developers support website about the app graphic not being superimposed over the the video file where the Quicktime, MPlayerX, etc. graphic might have been previously. The video file is just a plain white file.

Product claims to play almost all video versions…the product will only play sound, it wont play the actual video. GARBAGE I want my money back

Total Video Player provides not only an easy to use experience but elegant as well. I enjoyed the customability behind the player while maintaining quality support for both video/audio files. Overall a great app to use for consuming media. Allowing the user to focus on the media at hand & not be distracted by the interface.

I needed a video player that could add .srt files for subtitles. This one is so easy to use and works with multiple video formats (.avi, and .mkv). Thank you, Total Video Player, for being exactly what I need!

I just down lowded the player and it allowed me to view a video that VLC would have WITHOUT A LONG START UP

I purchased specifically to learn guitar parts. The loop mode lets me hit cmd-shift-L when I reach a desired location during playback to start the loop and then again to set the loop end point. Looping begins right away and can be canceled by hitting cmd-shift-L a third time. Clicking anywhere within the looped section will start from that location and then go to the end of the loop after which it continues the loop from the start point again. Very handy. The slow motion is also terrific and it preseves sound quality pretty well even at half speed. Worth the 5 bucks.

Works good , plays a variety of formats starts up fast , no complaints.

It has everything one would look for from a smart video player. It plays all the videos that i have in my library across different formats without any glitches. Very happy with my decision.

I paid my 5 dollors only to find out that this at do not work any better than my free “Flip For Mac” player. I do not get the same features with each movie I play. Many do not have the slow motion (which is not slow) ir fast forward. The interface is vanilla and has no style to it as you would expect from an app at this price oint. I am going to delete this app because I have no use for it.

I have some MP4 videos that were recorded on a Windows machine using YouCam. Quicktime player would not play the MP4 videos with sound so I bought this app and it plays the videos with sound just fine.

I have been looking for an application that would allow me to view a music video and slow it down to learn to segments of song and this one is the best so far. I have installed and and uninstalled a few that give you a trial version and I was not happy they did not have the features that this one has to offer, this one is the best so far for that purpose it will allow you to select a section of the video and play a loop if you want to learn a guitar solo for instance and the best part is that the sound slows down in sync with the video, I think the developer could work a little more on this feature and this application could become far superior to other applications that mainly allow you to slow down the sound keeping the same pitch but will not allow you to watch a video at the same time, this one gives you the advantage that you can watch/hear the video and watch the hand momevements and position on the instrument not just hear the sound at a lower speed,I am very please with this application the best so far I have used from the App Store
